Website Terms and Conditions for Filbert Industries New Zealand Limited (FINZ)

1. Privacy Policy

We value your privacy!

We will never give, lease, sell or otherwise disclose your personal information.  Any information you give to us will be held with the utmost care.

2. Collection of personal information

As part of doing business with FINZ we may collect the following information:

o   Information about your use of this website (including pages visited);

o   Information about the transactions you have carried out over this website (including all the details associated with any product purchases);

o   Any other information that you send to FINZ;

We do NOT collect or retain your complete credit card details (see our Security page)

FINZ may use your personal information to:

o   Administer this website;

o   Improve the value to you of our website and the information available on the web site

o   Send you products that you purchase

o   Collect payments from you

o   Send you occasional marketing communications

3. Prices and Payment Methods

All pricing and final billing processed, is in New Zealand Dollars.

We accept Visa and Mastercard cards only.

4. Handling and Delivery Methods and Charges

We use NZ Post Parcel post, or CourierPost. We charge for delivery at their cost price to us plus a $2 fee (excluding GST) for packing and handling, or you can pick up for free at our factory / shop in Lower Hutt CBD. At the time of creating or updating your delivery address(s) you must choose your correct delivery zone (North Island or South Island; urban or rural; Wellington across town; or Pick up at Shop).

You must not change the delivery zone of a saved address as this may cause errors in shipping charges. Instead, delete the address and create a new one. You can have multiple delivery addresses and use them interchangeably.

The choice between delivery methods to your chosen delivery zone will be made available to you in the check out. All orders (except Pick up at Shop) are subject to shipping and handling charges based on the total weight of the parcel. The Shopping cart will show this total as add your items.

If the order exceeds the single package maximum the order will be split over a maximum of two packages. We have a maximum weight of 10 kg at which point the system will give an error message that no carriers will be available. Please contact us for better rates when this maximum is exceeded.

 PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to adjust any order where incorrect freight or handling has been applied, or where system errors have occurred. We will contact you first.

Our website does not currently accept orders for export from New Zealand.

 5. Despatch Times

Most orders are shipped on or before the following business day from receipt of your order. If for some reason we cannot ship your order within 3 business days, we will email you to let you know within 48 hours.

6. Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

Please email us at orders@finz.kiwi if goods arrive damaged or if an incorrect item is received. At your option we will either refund the purchase price to your credit card, or exchange for the correct item when the returned goods are received.

We will accept order cancellations if we receive your email at orders@finz.kiwi before the goods are despatched. At your option we will either refund the purchase price to your card used for the purchase, or exchange for another item. We reserve the right to deduct Card charges from a refund.

7. Credit Card security

Our website does not collect or store your credit card details. Our website shopping cart passes control of your purchasing session to Payment Express Hosted Payment system to collect your card information. Payment Express’ Hosted system uses industry compliant software pre-certified and approved by banks to latest security mandates (AIS / SDP / PCI DSS / 3D Secure).

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

While we make every effort to ensure our site is up to date and accurate it is possible that there are typographical errors and or technical problems. If something looks wrong, it probably is and we reserve the right to discuss any site issues or errors with purchasers before supplying the ordered items.
