Marzipan made with Hazelnuts (egg-white free). [At FINZ we call it "Hazelpan"]
The image shows a Simnel cake iced with Hazelpan (this was then burnished with a chef's torch to give it the dark gold appearance)
Wrap well in non-stick foil and plastic-wrap and it is then refrigeratable for up to 3 months.
